The Best Time to Protect a Child's Brain Is Before the Harm Is Done.

Clinical Brainiacs is doing that work right now — educating families, advocating for change and building the research foundation that will protect children for generations. Help us reach more families before the window closes.

Clinical Brainiacs is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Your donation is fully tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.

Your Gift Goes to Work Immediately.

Every dollar donated to Clinical Brainiacs goes directly toward expanding our reach and deepening our impact. There is no bureaucracy here. Just mission.

As Clinical Brainiacs grows, so does our ability to fund original research, partner with institutions and drive meaningful change at the state and national level.

Educational content and resources for parents, caregivers and healthcare providers

Outreach and awareness campaigns that reach families before preventable harm occurs

The operational foundation needed to pursue federal grant funding for pediatric brain health research

A growing community of advocates committed to protecting children's developmental outcomes

This Is Just the Beginning.

Clinical Brainiacs was founded with a long view. Protecting the developing brain is not a campaign. It's a cause. Here is what we are working to build:

  • A nationally recognized hub of research-backed educational resources on preventable threats to pediatric brain development

  • Original, published research into the relationship between specific environmental factors — beginning with noise exposure — and developmental outcomes in children

  • Partnerships with speech pathologists, pediatricians and neuroscientists to study and document neurological risk factors

  • Advocacy for federal regulation of white noise machine volume standards toprotect infant safety

  • A Brain Awareness Month initiative to bring national attention to the urgency of protecting the developing brain

  • Regional chapters and community programs to carry this message to families

    where they live

  • Educational programming for children in early elementary school on the

importance of protecting their own brains

You Don't Have to Be a Doctor to Make a Difference.

The most powerful thing any of us can do for a child is make sure the adults around that child are informed. Whether you're a parent who wants to share what you've learned, a

healthcare professional who sees the need firsthand or a community leader ready to take action, there is a place for you in this movement.

We Believe You Deserve to Know How Your Gift Is Used.

Clinical Brainiacs operates as a lean, mission-driven organization. We are committed to directing the maximum possible share of every donation toward the education and advocacy programs that serve children and the families who love them.

We are building our financial reporting systems in alignment with nonprofit best practices and will make our annual reports and financial summaries available to donors as the organization grows.

A Healthy Brain Is the Greatest Gift You Can Give a Child.

The early years will not come again. The connections being built right now, in children across

this country and around the world, will shape the people they become. Help us reach more

families before the window closes.

Beverly Hansen, R.N., M.B.A.

Founder & CEO, Clinical Brainiacs | Clinical Brain Coach & Healthcare Innovator

Beverly Hansen is a registered nurse, MBA and clinical brain coach with more than 40 years of experience in nursing, acute care, behavioral health, wellness and healthcare innovation. She is the founder of Hansen Solutions, LLC, operating as Clinical Brainiacs, and the author of White Noise–Dark Impact.

Beverly has held executive leadership roles in clinical operations, medical and behavioral health services at major U.S. health plans, and served as clinical trainer for Total Brain, a brain cognitive fitness platform. Her educational background includes an M.B.A. from the University of Alabama at Birmingham, a B.B.A. from the University of North Florida and an A.A. in Nursing from the University of Charleston.

Beverly's work at Clinical Brainiacs grew directly out of a personal conviction — and a personal cost. As a grandmother and clinician, she saw firsthand what the science was showing about white noise and infant brain development. She spoke up. She wrote the book. And she built an organization to make sure every parent, grandparent, teacher and healthcare provider has access to what she learned.

Beverly is available for speaking engagements on pediatric brain health, neuroplasticity, noise and child development.
